Own the performance of our North Houston apartment community — occupancy, the on-site team, resident experience, and the numbers. An operator's seat for someone who treats the property like their own business.
What you'll actually do
- Own the community's performance: occupancy, leasing velocity, delinquency, and the operating budget.
- Lead the on-site team — assistant manager, leasing, and maintenance — hiring the bar high and holding it.
- Own resident experience end to end, from first tour to renewal, including the hard conversations.
- Report to owners with steady, straight answers they can trust.
- Run compliance right: Fair Housing, Section 8, and landlord-tenant requirements.
- Keep make-ready, marketing, and vendor performance tight — units show-ready and leased.
You'll thrive here if
- You've led a property or a team before and you're comfortable owning a number.
- You'd rather build a tight crew than babysit one — you make decisions and follow through.
- You know Fair Housing, Section 8, and landlord-tenant law cold.
- You're fluent in property-management software (ResMan a plus).
- An assistant manager ready to step up, or a current manager ready for real ownership.
