Everything You Need to Know Before You Apply.

Do I need to leave my brokerage to join?

No. The Preferred Agent Network is a referral partnership — you stay with your current brokerage. That said, if you're interested in joining FFL's brokerage for higher splits and exclusive access, you can ask about that during your onboarding call.

How do I get paid?

Commission is paid per signed lease. Task compensation (showings, lockboxes, inspections, photos) is paid per completed assignment. You'll review exact amounts during your onboarding call — they vary by market and task type.

What markets can I work in?

We have active inventory in Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg, Richmond, Washington DC, Maryland, Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio. Apply for the market(s) where you're licensed and active.

What's the time commitment?

There is no minimum. You set your availability and accept the tasks and leads that fit your schedule. Some agents take one or two showings a week; others build it into a consistent income stream.

Is there a cost to join?

None. There are no fees, no training costs, and no lock-in. You get on a call with our team, sign a partnership agreement, and get added to the network.

Do I need experience with rentals specifically?

Not required. If you're a licensed agent, professional, and can follow up with leads consistently, we can train you on the rest. We provide an inspection framework and task guidance.

What happens after I submit the form?

Our team will reach out to schedule a short call — typically within 1–2 business days. That call covers the program details, your market(s), and any questions. If it's a fit, we'll send over a partnership agreement.

Can I eventually move my license to FFL's brokerage?

Yes. Agents who join as Preferred Agents and want to grow further can inquire about joining our brokerage directly — which includes higher splits and additional exclusive opportunities.
